Copycat Whole Foods Paleo Green Smoothie

This copycat Whole Foods’ Paleo Green Smoothie is my favorite green smoothie as of late it's very delicious and really good.

I love a good smoothie. Who doesn’t? It's a cinch to find tasty smoothies, but many of the best tasting smoothies use extra sugar that most health aficionados don't want, and certainly those of us who eat a Paleo diet. Finding very healthy smoothies without that sugar is also easy, but those smoothies don't taste really good so often.
I called Whole Foods and asked what's in their Paleo Green smoothie, so I could make it at home. It's soooo good, just put all the ingredients into a blender and turn the switch around. Just make sure not to add too much ice, or it gets runny — The smoothie should be creamy and thick to drink . Now here’s the recipe.

Here’s what you will need:

  • 1 Cup coconut milk ((I used the light version from Trader Joe’s. If you are doing a strict paleo get the coconut milk in the can not the carton.)
  • 1 Large handful baby kale
  • 1 Large handful spinach
  • ½ Banana
  • ½ Cup pineapple
  • 1 Tablespoon of almond butter
  • Ice

The best part about this smoothie (and why I call it the Best Paleo Green Smoothie) is that anyone will love it-whether they eat Paleo or not. It is fresh, invigorating, and full of vivid colours. It is such a perfect way  to start your day.
